Here are the top high school boys spring sports performers from across the River Valley on April 29-May 5:

Wednesday

Baseball

Connor Brady, Van Buren: Brady went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in the Pointers' 5-3 win against Bentonville West.

Track

Ryan Hayslip, Mansfield: Hayslip placed second in the pole vault (11-6) at the 2A state meet held in Gurdon.

Bri Sanderson, Mansfield: Sanderson was second in the discus (133-9) and was fourth in the shot put (43-9) at the 2A state meet.

Tuesday

Track

Bryson Bailey, Waldron: Bailey won the long jump (22-2), was second in the 200 meters (22.75) and fourth in the 100 meters (11.29) at the 3A state meet held in Prescott.

Isaac Villarreal, Waldron: Villarreal placed second in the 110 meter hurdles (15.70) at the 3A state meet.

Waldron's 400 relay team: The team of Gabino Grano, Bryson Bailey, Caden Fuller and Bryson Barker took first place in the 400-meter relay (43.58) at the 3A state meet.

Waldron's 800 relay team: The team of Drake Carnley, Bryson Bailey, Caden Fuller and Bryson Barker finished first in the 800-meter relay (1:32.59) at the 3A state meet.

Matthew Dunsworth, Clarksville: Dunsworth won both the 1,600 meters (4:43.93) and the 3,200 meters (10:05.41) at the 4A state meet held in Nashville.

Daniel Sanderson, Clarksville: Sanderson finished second in the 3,200 meters (10:26.71) at the 4A state meet.

Britton Gage, Ozark: Gage claimed the pole vault championship (14-6) at the 4A state meet.

Payten Durning, Ozark: Durning was second in the 300 hurdles (41.14) and third in the 110 hurdles (16.15) at the 4A state meet.

Golf

Connor Whitworth, Poteau: Whitworth won the 4A regional championship in Cushing, shooting a total score of 146.

Monday

Baseball

Hunter Sparks, Spiro: Sparks was 2-for-2 with a double and three runs scored as the Bulldogs defeated Checotah, 6-0.

Tucker Garrett, Poteau: Garrett went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in the Pirates' 7-5 win against Vian.

Grayson Gilmore, Stigler: Gilmore was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and three runs scored as the Panthers defeated Panama, 12-0.

Track

Tyler Williams, Mulberry: Williams took second place in the discus (115-5.5) at the 1A state meet held in Mineral Springs.

Brandt Rogers, Scranton: Rogers came in third in the 800 meter run (2:21.83) at the 1A state meet.

Tyler Schroeder, Scranton: Schroeder finished third in the 300 hurdles (45.97) at the 1A state meet.

Baseball

Will Hammons, Wister: Hammons went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs as the Wildcats claimed the Class A regional title with an 11-1 win against Crowder.

Landon Thornburg, Wister: Thornburg hit a grand slam in the Wildcats' regional win.

Randall Claude, Mansfield: Claude was 2-for-3 with two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored as the Tigers won the 2A-4 district championship with a 15-1 win against Mountainburg.

Fisher Willsey, Mansfield: Willsey was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Braxton Byers, Mansfield: Byers doubled, drove in two runs and scored a run in a 4-1 win against Acorn in the district tournament.

Chance Broussard, Booneville: Broussard's RBI single in the bottom of the eighth brought in Brooks Herrera in the Bearcats' 8-7 win against Charleston in the third-place game of the 3A-4 district tournament.

Trenton Jones, Sallisaw: Jones threw a two-hit shutout over five innings and struck out one as the Black Diamonds defeated McAlester, 15-0.

Track

Trenden Collins, Muldrow: Collins placed second in both the high jump (6-2) and long jump (21-11.5) at the 4A regional meet in Checotah.

Dax Collins, Poteau: Collins was second in the 100 meters (11.57) at the 4A regional meet.

Poteau's 400 relay team: The squad of Jackson Sommers, Dean Odom, Jace Hall and Dax Collins finished second (45.01) at the 4A regional meet.

Elijah Cook, Heavener: Cook won the 3,200-meter run (10:30.1) and was second in the 1,600 (4:54.52) at the 3A regional meet in Atoka.

Jose Ramirez, Heavener: Ramirez took first in the long jump (19-6.5) at the 3A regional meet in Atoka.

Ty McHenry, Sallisaw: McHenry went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles in a 14-4 win against Inola in the first game of the 4A bi-district playoffs.

Jake Craighead, Sallisaw: Craighead was 3-for-3 with a pair of runs scored to sweep the 4A bi-district series from Inola, winning the second game, 18-0.

Diego Ramos, Vian: Ramos was 3-for-4 and drove in five runs in a 16-1 win over North Rock Creek in the opener of their 3A bi-district playoff.

Joe Glass, Vian: Glass went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI as the Wolverines swept the bi-district series with North Rock Creek, winning the second game, 10-0.

Paxton Pitts, Roland: Pitts was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, four RBIs and two runs scored as the Rangers took the opening game of their 3A bi-district series with Holdenville, winning 8-3.

Carson Wiggins, Roland: Wiggins pitched 5 2/3 innings to get the win, striking out six. He also scored three runs.

Cooper Riggs, Roland: Riggs had two hits, including a go-ahead two-run triple in the sixth as the Rangers rallied for a 6-3 win, sweeping the bi-district series with Holdenville.

Cade Tucker, Central: Tucker was 2-for-4 and scored a run in a 6-1 win against Chouteau in the opening game of their 2A bi-district playoff.

Colby Lowe, Central: Lowe went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs as the Tigers swept the bi-district playoff with Chouteau, winning the second game, 14-3.

Caleb Crabtree, Howe: Crabtree pitched four scoreless innings and also hit a two-run home run in the Lions' 13-2 win against Chelsea in the opening game of the 2A bi-district playoffs.

Wes Bradley, Howe: Bradley hit a two-run double during a nine-run second inning as the Lions swept the bi-district playoff with Chelsea, winning the second game, 11-1.

C.J. Halford, Wister: Halford was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and a run scored in the Wildcats' 9-1 win against Crowder in the Class A regionals.

Will Hammons, Wister: Hammons was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs while throwing a seven-inning shutout, striking out six, in an 8-0 win against Regent Prep in the Class A regionals.

Grayson Gilmore, Stigler: Gilmore was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored as the Panthers defeated Locust Grove, 11-1, in the first game of the 4A bi-district playoffs.

Jayden Gauld, Stigler: Gauld was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, and also gave up one run on four hits over four innings to get the win in the Panthers' 11-1 win against Locust Grove in the second game of the 4A bi-districts.

Duke Walker, Paris: Walker was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs as the Eagles defeated Booneville, 7-6, in the 3A-4 district semifinals.

Hunter Taylor, Roland: Taylor finished second in the long jump (20-3.5) at the 3A regional meet to qualify for the 3A state meet.

Desean Mays, Vian: Mays won both the 100 (11.51) and 200 (23.04) sprints at the 3A regional meet in Atoka.

Julius Aquino, Vian: Aquino placed second in the 100 meters (11.73) at the 3A regional meet.

Manases Delafuente, Van Buren: Delafuente scored three goals in the Pointers' 10-0 win against Vilonia.

Jacob Herrera, Booneville: Herrera was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs while also throwing a one-hitter, striking out 12, in the Bearcats' 6-2 win against Cedarville in the 3A-4 district tournament.

Track

Matt Haddock, Southside: Haddock won the 400 meter run (50.18) at the 6A-West conference meet held in Bentonville.

Paris Allen, Southside: Allen took second in the long jump (21-0.75) at the 6A-West conference meet.

Tyheen Prosise, Northside: Prosise finished second in the 400 meter run (50.80) at the 6A-Central conference meet at Conway.

Northside's 400 relay team: The squad of Dreyden Norwood, Tyheen Prosise, Da'Mari Smith and Avonte Tucker took first in the 400-meter relay (42.52) at the 6A-Central meet.

Tobey Sayaxomphou, Van Buren: Sayaxomphou won the triple jump (42-11) and was second in the long jump (20-2.75) at the 5A-West conference meet in Russellville.

Conner Stacy, Alma: Stacy took first in the high jump (6-3) and was second in both the 110 hurdles (15.93) and 300 hurdles (41.48) at the 5A-West conference meet held in Russellville.

Kyle Jones, Alma: Jones finished second in the 400 meter dash (52.82) at the 5A-West conference meet.

Noah Embrey, Greenwood: Embrey was second in the 3,200 meter run (10:09.42) at the 5A-West conference meet.
