Here are the area's top high school performers in the Fort Smith coverage area from Thursday and Friday.
Jersey Wolfenbarger, Northside: Wolfenbarger scored 18 of her team-high 24 points in the first half as the Lady Bears clinched the 6A-Central title with a 72-56 win at North Little Rock.
Tori Sumbler, Northside: Sumbler had two hits, including a home run to lead off the first inning, scored three runs and drove in two more as the Lady Bear softball team defeated Van Buren, 16-6.
Danessa Teague, Northside: Teague was 3-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored in the Lady Bears' 16-6 win against Van Buren.
Mariah Jenkins, Muldrow: Jenkins had 19 points and 12 rebounds in the Lady Bulldogs' 48-42 win against Vinita in the 4A Area II consolation round.
Brooklyn Zarlingo, Booneville: Zarlingo was the high point for the girls in the Booneville Bearcat Relays, recording a score of 47.5
David Sorg and Braxton Waller, Southside: The two combined for a no-hitter as the Maverick baseball team opened their season with an 8-1 win at Alma.
Kent Carlisle and Jake Forsgren, Southside: Carlisle and Forsgren both hit home runs in Southside's 8-1 win at Alma.
Payton Durning, Ozark: Durning was the high point boys finisher at the Booneville Bearcat Relays, finishing with 44 points.
Tuvaris Noonan, Roland: Noonan had 17 points as the Rangers defeated Spiro, 54-44, in the 3A Area IV consolation round.
Trenden Collins, Muldrow: Collins scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Bulldogs rolled past Grove, 54-34, in the 4A Area II consolation round.
Codi Chick, Mansfield: Chick had 15 points as the Tigers earned a berth to state with a 53-35 win against Cotter in the 2A-West regional tournament.
Luke Watson, Lavaca: Watson finished with 22 points as the Golden Arrows clinched a trip to state with a 71-66 win against Flippin in the 2A-West regionals.
Kaitlyn Martinez, Roland: Martinez scored 16 points and made four 3's as the Lady Rangers defeated Hugo, 51-30, to capture the 3A Area IV championship.
Makayla Twyman, Howe: Twyman had 15 points and hit three third-quarter 3's as Howe downed Hartshorne, 66-39, for the 2A Area IV championship.
Jadyn Hart, Paris: Hart had three hits, scored two runs and drove in two more as the Lady Eagle softball team defeated Dardanelle, 4-2.
Ashton Young, Waldron: Young had two hits and an RBI in the Lady Bulldogs' 7-3 softball win against Magnolia.
Kaitlyn Gutierrez, Northside: Gutierrez had a hat trick with three goals in the Lady Bears' 6-0 soccer win against DeQueen to move their record to 3-0.
Lexi Franklin, Booneville: Franklin pitched a no-hitter and struck out eight while hitting a solo home run in the LadyCats' 12-0 win against Mena in the Ashdown Tournament.
Shiloh Summers, Van Buren: Summers claimed the 5A 106 title at the state wrestling meet.
Hayden Allen, Greenwood: Allen was the winner of the 5A 113 championship at the state wrestling meet.
Trevor Edelen, Van Buren: Edelen finished with the 5A 120 weight class title at the state wrestling meet.
Hayden Rofkahr, Greenwood: Injured a year ago, Rofkahr came back to win the 5A 138 title at the state wrestling meet.
Ty Moose, Greenwood: Moose won his third straight state wrestling championship in three different classes, this time taking first in the 5A 138.
Jason Arnold, Greenwood: Arnold repeated as a state wrestling champion, claiming the title in the 5A 170 weight class.
Jordan Hanna, Greenwood: Hanna was the first Bulldog wrestler to complete a perfect season, going 21-0 which was capped by his championship in the 5A 195 class.
Tyler Crossno, Greenwood: The junior repeated his state championship by claiming the 5A 220 title at the state wrestling meet.
Ti Lockwood, Southside: Lockwood finished off a 15-1 season by winning the 6A 152 title at the state wrestling meet.
Demaris Medlock, Northside: Unseeded entering the state wrestling tournament, Medlock capped off a remarkable run by winning the 6A 220 championship.
Zack Jones, Mountainburg: Jones came off the bench to score 21 points to lift the Dragons past Mansfield, 56-46, in the 2A-West Region semifinals.
Austin Cluck, Cedarville: Cluck scored 23 points and converted seven 3's as the Pirates edged Waldron, 55-53, in the 3A Region I semifinals.
