Here is a list of six restaurants that over and over again the people of Booneville said they want.
More than anything else, people want a sit-down restaurant that serves good old-fashioned, home-cooked meals. Many desired something like the now-closed Bearcat Restaurant.
They also asked for a restaurant in this style with a buffet and other menu-listed items and would also like to see the restaurant offer breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as be open seven days a week.
Southern cooking calls to mind all things fried: fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, fried pickles. People are looking for this restaurant to serve hardy meals — something that comes with potatoes and is served with a roll.
Arby's is a meat-loving, fast-food restaurant that ranked among the most frequently mentioned restaurants wanted.
