A woman driving the Jeep Cherokee pictured above, according to witnesses, was traveling east when she ran the stoplight at Welsh and Main Street Thursday afternoon and hit a 1994 Ford pickup truck then collided with the utility pole on the southeast corner of the intersection in front of the tobacco shop. The pole was later replaced. The pickup which was travelling south, was turned to an eastward and proceeded through a fence and into the vacant building east of the tobacco shop. The driver of the Jeep was cited for no insurance, no license plates, no drivers license, failure to yield and careless or prohibitive driving. The man driving the pickup was taken from the scene via ambulance. The woman, a male passenger and two children in the Jeep were checked at the scene and were not transported.
