Basketball season ended for three south Logan County teams Monday night in the opening rounds of their respective district tournaments.
At Two Rivers High School in Ola Baylee Moses scored the 500th point of her high school career in a 47-41 loss to Perryville in the 3A-4 tournament.
Moses, a junior, scored 15 points for the seventh seeded Lady Bearcats (5-20) and Hannah Gregory scored 10 points and had eight rebounds. Lindsay Wallace also had eight rebounds with her seven points.
Grace Walker scored 24 points for the Lady Mustangs and Kyra Hardgrove added 13.
Perryville will face third seeded Lamar on Tuesday.
Hackett 51 Lady Rattlers 42
In an upset of sorts in the 2A-4 tournament in Danville the sixth seeded Lady Rattlers (10-17) were unable to beat the seventh seeded Lady Hornets for the third time this season.
Hannah Smith scored 15 points with five assists and five rebounds in her final game. Kiara Vasquez scored 11 points and Kylie Robinson added eight points.
Kayla Richardson scored 24 points and Brooke Holt had nine points. Audrey Cheney had eight rebounds.
Hector 46 Rattlers 38
The sixth seeded Wildcats got 20 points and six rebounds from Caleb Profitt to beat the Rattlers (5-20) or the second time in four days and third time this semester.
Isaac Stanke added 14 points for the Wildcats.
Magazine got 10 points from sophomore Tatum Scott and Chase Gibson scored nine points and pulled down 11 rebounds.
