Brooklyn Zarlingo, the lone Booneville girl to attend the state indoor track meet Friday night, placed in four events, picking up three medals and scoring 26 total points in the meet.

Zarlingo, a sophomore, was second in the triple jump (33’ 3”), tied for second in the pole vault (7’ 6”), third in the long jump (15’ 1”) and fourth in the high jump (4’ 8”) inside the Randall Tyson Track Center on the campus of the Uinversity of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

While there were more boys in attendance, there weren’t very many.

Cort Mizell led the contingent with a second place finish in the shot put (39’ 2.25”).

Also placing in the shot put was Dominic Helms, who was eighth (35’ 4.25”)

Jeremy Elliott took seventh in the 400-meter dash (57.19) and Ty Goff was one spot out of the scoring in ninth. Andrew Robertson’s 7.55 60-meter dash was also ninth.

Also making the trip for the Bearcats was Anthony McKesson, who ran the 400-meters.
