LITTLE ROCK - Prior to Saturday’s Red-White game, new Arkansas Coach Chad Morris singled out several Razorbacks to the War Memorial Stadium crowd for their practices this spring, including Matt Berry of Booneville.

Berry, a defensive back, receiver Tyson Morris, who had four catches for 58 yards Saturday, and Greenwood native linebacker Grant Morgan were hearlded as “walk-on warriors.”

Senior offensive tackles Colton Jackson, a Conway native, and Brian Wallace, fourth-year junior quarterback Ty Storey of Charleston, running backs Chase Hayden and Devwah Whaley and receiver Jonathan Nance were cited as “Most Consistent Offensive Players.”

Defensive lineman Armon Watts and T.J. Smith and Randy Ramsey, linebacker De’Jon Harris and safety Santos Ramirez were cited as Most Consistent Defensive Players with offensive guard Hjalte Froholdt, linebacker Dre Greenlaw and special-teamer Ryder Lucas most exalted as Spring MVP’s.
