In a game rescheduled from Friday to allow schools to participate in the state indoor track meet in Fayetteville Friday, Booneville pulled out a a narrow win on the road Thursday night, escaping Waldron 45-43 after a three shot foul at the end of the game netted the Bulldogs a single point.

Caden Yarborough scored 22 points to lead the Bearcats (16-8, 9-3) and Adam Haney added another 10. Logan Bradley pulled down 13 rebounds for the Bearcats. Waldron got 20 points from Jesse Chrisman.

In the opener of senior night in Waldron the Lady Bulldogs edged the LadyCats 38-35 behind 12 points from Morgan Langley. Beth Wilkinson scored 15 for the LadyCats (5-13, 2-8).

Magazine also took to the floor on Thursday night with its senior high teams playing the back half of a four game set with nonconference foe Mulberry.

The Rattlers (14-9) were handed a loss by the Class A Yellow Jackets for the third time this year, 63-51 as Trevor Marvin scored 28 points and Brendon Lawson added 20. James Burr had 17 points and Randon Baumgartner 10 for Magazine.

The Lady Rattlers (13-12) dispatched Mulberry for the third time, 50-25 as Racheal Phillips scored 16 points. Amanda Jones had 14 points for Mulberry. Both had seven rebounds.
