Tina Kay Wolfe

Tina Kay Wolfe, 55, of Rogers, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014 in Rogers. She was born to Ernest and Sandra Thornell, May 22, 1958 in Madison, Wisc.

She raduated from Horicon High School in 1976. She dedicated 28 years of service to her community and her state. She began her career at the Booneville Human Development Center where she worked her way up to a Level 2 Aide. During this time she also became a coach for the area Special Olympics. After a move to Rogers, she continued her service at the Benton County Health Department as a lab technician.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, with funeral services at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 North 4th Street in Rogers.

She is survived by her parents, Ernest and Sandra Thornell of Magazine; her fiancé Richard Steed of Rogers; four daughters, Amber Spear of Pensacola Fla., Kandace Dyle of Rogers, Sandra Dyle of Ft. Smith and Megan Wolfe of Ava. Mo.; grandchildren Kaleb Kennedy, Jackson and Preston Spear; and her siblings, Tammy Van de Bogart, Teal Barto, Ernie Thornell and Karl Thornell.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics.
