Mena police on Saturday morning arrested a 25-year-old man after an investigation into a bomb threat and fire at a resale store.

Police around 3:40 a.m. received the bomb threat to the Mena Post Office, 400 South Morrow Street. An officer shortly after noticed the resale store "Just For Kids," 811 Eagle Gap, was on fire. An investigation discovered the bomb threat and fire were related and later led to the arrest, a Police Department news release states.

Mena police, Polk County sheriff's investigators, members of the Fort Smith Fire Department Bomb Squad, U.S. Postal Service personnel and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents are investigating the incident, the release states.
