Recognizing the importance of students and athletes staying hydrated with water; a $1,500 grant from Innovative Solutions for Educational Partnerships has been used to purchase and install a water-bottle filling station/drinking fountain at the Booneville Junior High School.

The station is located in the cafeteria area, is in close proximity of the gymnasium and is available for all students/athletes.

“Booneville School District is committed to the success of each of our students and by providing this water-bottle filling station we are encouraging our students to promote their own well-being and health awareness by staying hydrated with water as opposed to pop, juice or energy drinks during the school day,” the district said in a prepared statement.

Booneville School District extends a sincere thank you to ISEP for providing the funds for this station and helping us ensure the health of our students and athletes.
