The 75th annual Booneville Development Corporation/South Logan Count Chamber of Commerce banquet will be held this Saturday, March 2, at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
In keeping with the theme for the evening will be “Past, Present & Future,” there will be three speakers for the banquet, beginning with Web Watts, a retired educator, discussing the area’s past.
Robert Herrera, the president of First Western Bank will cover the present. Lexi Danekas, a 2018 BHS graduate who grew up in 4H and was part of the school’s move into robotics, will discuss the future.
The Jeral Hampton Lifetime Achievement, the Chamber Member of the Year and the Volunteer of the Year awards will also be presented during the evening.
Doors will open at 5:30 for a social and time to peruse the silent auction options. The meal will be served at 6.
Tickets for the banquet are $25 each and are available at the BDC/Chamber office.
