A sex offender on Tuesday was federally sentenced in the Western District of Arkansas on a child pornography charge.

Roy Breedlove, 54, of Ozark was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison without parole and five years supervised release on possession of child pornography. Breedlove owned child pornography in 2017, according to a Western District news release.

FBI officials in May 2017 obtained evidence that Breedlove, who was previously convicted of sexual abuse and attempted rape, was in possession of child pornography. Officials during their investigation into Breedlove's activities executed a search warrant on his residence and found multiple child pornography images, the release states.
