A Booneville man has been formally charged with first degree terroristic threatening and harassment of a Booneville Elementary School teacher.
School resource officer Norman Wilder investigated an incident reported as a dispure on North Owen Street, next to the elementary school playground on Sept. 29 which resulted in the charges against Justin Bradley Lovell, 23, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
The teachers told officer Wilder Lovell had been cursing one of the teachers and threatened to cut one of the teacher’s throat, and also threatened to have a gun, while one of the teachers was attempting to get Lovell to calm down.
The threatening charge against Lovell is a Class D felony. The harassment charge is a Class A misdemeanor.
