Funding will help local First Responders with equipment needs.

Diamond Pipeline LLC, a joint venture between Plains All American Pipeline and Valero, donated more than $39,000 to three local Logan County First Responder Units for the purchase of needed equipment.

“Our first responders provide a crucial community support,” said Brandon Smith, Plains All American. “We are pleased to provide the Ratcliff Rural Fire Department, and Booneville and Roseville Volunteer Fire Departments with additional resources that allow their firefighters to better equip themselves with the tools they need to serve residents of Logan County.”

The Roseville and Booneville Volunteer Fire Departments received nearly $30,000 to purchase new turnout gear used by firefighters, and the Ratcliff Rural Fire Department received $9,850 to purchase a variety of equipment for use in the field.

“Our firefighters and the residents they serve will benefit tremendously from these awards,” said Chief Joe Mounts, Roseville Volunteer Fire Department. “The First Responder grants will purchase a variety of equipment, including personal protection gear, that will help keep our volunteer firefighters and citizens safe.”

The Diamond Pipeline First Responder Grant Program is aimed to help responders receive funding to support training and response equipment needs along the Diamond Pipeline route in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee. The grant program helps first responders better serve their local communities by providing additional resources that enhance their safety and training.
