The Magazine Rattlers placed eight players on the All District 2A-4 West team, including All State selection Layton Robinson.

The Lady Rattler softball team had eight All District players as well, including All State selection Kenzie Graham.

Robinson was a triple crown winner for Magazine, leading the Rattlers in home runs, runs batted in and batting average for the regular season champions. In addition to being All District and All State the junior was also named to the All 2A West region team.

Joining Robinson, who was also the Rattlers top starting pitcher, on the All District team were Jonathan Travis, J.W. Crossland, Mason Suttles, Kalob Helms, Cody Shelton, Brent Loyd and Jonathan Stover.

Suttles, who played center field, led the Rattlers in stolen bases and Travis, primarily a catcher and leadoff hitter, compiled the best on base percentage.

For the Lady Rattlers, who won both the regular season and district tournament titles, Graham, the main hurler, was also on the All State Tournament team.

Graham led the team in hitting, home runs, RBIs and co-led in runs scored.

Joining Graham on the All District list were McKenzie Loyd, Shawna Stone, Rankin Bennett, Destiny Bennett, Kayla Canada, Dena Watson and Madison Cotton.

Loyd led the team in extra base hits, was second in runs scored and was second in RBIs. Cotton co-led in runs scored and in walks drawn.

Honorable Mention All State awards went to Loyd and Stone, who like Graham, are seniors.
