FORT SMITH, Ark. – One of the perks of winning the Heartland Conference regular-season volleyball championship is earning the right to host the conference tournament, and the UAFS Lady Lions will do so for the second consecutive season this weekend at the Stubblefield Center.

UAFS (21-8) will be the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will play No. 4 seed St. Mary’s (14-14) at 5 p.m. on Friday, while No. 2 seed Dallas Baptist (16-15) will play No. 3 seed St. Edward’s (14-15) at 7:30 p.m.

The winners of those matches will play each other at 1 p.m. on Saturday in the championship match. The conference tournament winner will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament. UAFS is the two-time defending conference tournament champion.

Admission will be $6 for adults and $4 for non-UAFS students. A tournament pass good for all three matches will be $10.
