After having received plenty of interest this summer, Booneville senior Logan Bradley last week received his first official offer to play college basketball.
The 6’ 9” Bradley has visited with representatives of about 35 schools over the past two months, but it was Division II Delta State in Cleveland, Miss., who broke the ice last week.
Bradley led the Bearcats in rebounds and blocked shots last year, setting a school record in the later for a team that finished with a program record 20 wins against 14 losses and reached the state tournament. Bradley scored a career high 26 points against Paris last season.
Delta State’s Statesmen play in the Gulf South Conference, which includes schools in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.
Last season the Statesmen were 12-15 overall, but were 10-9 against GSC foes.
