SAN ANTONIO — University of the Ozarks clay target standout Grace Brown won her second straight individual national championship at the Association of College Unions International Collegiate (ACUI) National Championships in her final collegiate shoot.

Brown, from Booneville, topped Alicia Dale from Midland University for the International Trap title. There were 172 shooters in the Class A competition, but that didn’t deter Brown as she lead the entire week.

Brown and Dale eventually tied in the final round both hitting 98 out of 100 chances. Brown clinched the title at the second station after Dale missed her shot. Last year, Brown won the International Bunker Trap national championship.

In the Women’s High Overall (HOA) standings, Brown was the team’s best finisher with 508. This placed her 25th out of 132 competitors.
