Wilbur Wilson Ditzler Jr.
Wilbur Wilson Ditzler, Jr. , 69, of Fayetteville, formerly of Fort Smith, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 in Springdale. He was born April 6, 1944 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Wilbur Wilson Ditzler, Sr. and Katherine Ramon Ditzler.
He was a forklift operator for the Rheem corporation in Fort Smith. He was of the Assembly of God faith and served in the Army reserves. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and helping the elderly through the bus ministry at his church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charlie Ditzler.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at Cedar Grove Cemetery near the Booth community, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Booneville.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene, of the home; three sons, Tony Lewis Ditzler and wife Tabitha of Mulberry, Robert Leon Ditzler of Fayetteville, and Kevin Todd Ditzler of Fort Smith; three sisters, Pat Figueroa of Oregon, and Faye Bingham and Rita Minor, both of California; five grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, Madison, and Ethan; other relatives and friends.
