Monroe Cotner, 92, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., passed away July 17.
He was born and raised on a family farm near Booneville. He spent his entire 41-year career in aerospace with North American Aviation (Rockwell), which included two years with the Army Air Corps during WWII. He often spoke about his time as a project manager/engineer on the B-1 program.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, his first wife Vergie, and his wife Lola (Ginger). He was be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Ginger in a graveside service at Green Hills Memorial Park on Friday, July 26.
He is survived by his two children, Douglas and Rosemary; four step-children, Michael, Catherine, Larry and Randall; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
