James Patrick Rothwein

James Patrick Rothwein, 71 of Booneville, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his home near Booneville. He was born April 27, 1942 in Philadelphia, Penn., to Joseph and Mary Burk Rothwein.

He was a retired law enforcement officer and carpenter. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the N.R.A., F.O.P. , Peace Officers Association, and the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed woodworking and being a shooting sports instructor for the N.R.A. and the Boy Scouts of America.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. Internment of cremains will be held at a later date in Alabama.

He is survived by his wife Frances of the home; two daughters, Vicki Woodring and husband Brian of Notasugla, Ala., and Marie Humphries and husband John of Douglasville, Ga.; one son James Rothwein and wife Lessia of Notasugla, Ala.; one brother, Joe Rothwein of Intercourse, Penn.; five grandchildren, Matthew Ward Rothwein, Nell Kohn, Wess Rothwein, Cheyenne Humphries and Emily Humphries; several nieces and nephews; and other family.
