Donnette Smith, 71, of Booneville, passed from this life on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in her home near Booneville. She was born Aug. 20, 1942 in Earl, Ark., to John E. and Elvia (Harmon) Bramlett.
She was retired from the Booneville Human Development Center and the Booneville Elementary School. She was a loving mother and grandmother and homemaker and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and Logan County Historical Society.
She enjoyed gardening, drawing, painting, and wood burning.
She is preceded in death by one brother, James Bramlett and sister-in-law, Betty Bramlett; foster daughter, Debbie Murray and her parents.
A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 24, at the Southside Baptist Church in Booneville.
She is survived by her husband Billy Con Smith of the home; one daughter, Missy Debnar of Booneville; two sons, Mark Merrill and Billy Don Smith, both of Booneville; three sisters, Linda, Pam, and Cindy, all of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, John Bramlett of Joplin, Mo.; stepmother, Nora Bramlett of Joplin, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
