Kenneth Brown, 79, of Hackett passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, in his home. He retired from Dixie Cup and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Norma Brown of the home; four daughters, Debbie Jordan and husband Jon of Greenwood, Toby Lloyd and husband Danny of Greenwood, Sha-Marie Collins of Hackett and Sarah Thompson of Hackett; one brother, Ray Brown of Tennessee; one sister, Frances Lawson of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Sheri Lynn Brown and Kevin Douglas Brown.
Pallbearers will be Kolton Lloyd, Kenny Lloyd, Joseph Lloyd, Eric Rackers, Austin Lloyd and Kyle Rackers.
Honorary pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren.
