Ruth Marie Harris Campbell, 90, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born May 8, 1927 in the Carolan Community near Booneville, to David Eugene and Lou Venia (Carolan) Harris.
She was a devoted mother and housewife and retired from the Ace Comb Company after 29 years. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Booneville, a member of the Roadrunners and the Adult II Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Boilermakers Union.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Edgar Campbell; one son, Mike Campbell; one sister, Mary Witcher; and five brothers, Joe, Jim, Carolan, Paul and N.C. Harris.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Booneville, with burial in Carolan Cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by one son, Bill Campbell (Rowena) of Booneville, Arkansas; one sister, Ruby Hill of Booneville; two grandchildren, Sherry Young (Steve) and Rick Spears (Michelle); eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Steve Young, Rick Spears, John Michael O’Mara, Ron Cooney, Larry Glover, and David Harris.
Honorary Pallbearers: Gene Nelson, Jim Biggs, Shirley Bradley and Darrin Bulger.
