Earl MacHenry Sr. 78, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away Jan. 5, 2018 at his home. He was born Aug. 20, 1939 in Melrose, Mass., the son of Harold I. MacHenry and Hazel Majorie (Hamilton) MacHenry. Earl was a retired Veteran of the United States Navy and later worked for 20 years at the Central Maine Power Company. Earl was a hard worker, he was always trying to provide a better life for his family, he loved spending any free time he had with them and friends playing cards.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold MacHenry and Hazel (Hamilton) MacHenry; two sisters, Jane Macchione and Anita Bates; two brothers, Harold Jr. MacHenry and Stayley MacHenry
Earl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Renee (Berg) MacHenry of Booneville; four sons Earl MacHenry, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; Paul MacHenry and wife, Ellen of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; Alan MacHenry and wife, Denise of Booneville and Harold Lee MacHenry of Lewiston, Maine; one daughter, Debi Luther of Argyle, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Justin MacHenry, Alana McCormick, Chelsey MacHenry, Alan Barker, Christopher Pettit, Destiny MacHenry, Harold Lee Jr. MacHenry and Anita MacHenry; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
