Janelle Atris Trowbridge, 94, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017 in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born June 17, 1923 in Washburn, Arkansas to the late Dan and Mae (Nelson) Blythe.
She worked at the Booneville Human Development Center in the cafeteria as a baker for many years. She then worked for the Booneville School District for many years in the cafeteria. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Booneville.
She loved spending time with her family and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s athletic events. She was an avid Bearcat fan and enjoyed cooking, fishing, visiting with people.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Trowbridge, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church in Booneville, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Following the visitation the family and friends are asked to join them for a time of remembrance and celebration at the “Parks House” at 1423 Highway 23 South of Booneville from 6 to 8 p.m.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Richardson (Bill) of Booneville; two sons, Jerry Trowbridge and Danny Trowbridge (Pam) of Booneville; five grandchildren, Wesley, Paul, Daniel, Jennifer and Cassandra; three great-grandchildren, Haley, Savannah and Easton; other relatives and many friends. She was known as Meme to many.
The Pallbearers will be Floyd Parnell, Scott Pierce, Rudy Suttles, Tad DuPree, Buddy Littlefield, and Ted Short. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Wilkins, Scott Haller, Eddie Gossett and Jay Crowley.
