Peggy Ann Sackman Nelson, 77, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born Aug. 30, 1939 in Hamilton, Mo., to the late George and Bertha (Paustian) Sackman.
Peggy was retired from C.V.’s Foods in Booneville where she worked in the deli for many years. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Booneville. She enjoyed crocheting and doing crafts, reading, working in her flowers and plants and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded by her parents before mentioned; sisters, Hazel Cope and Barbara Cunningham; and half-brothers, Jim and Randy Klutts.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at the Southside Baptist Church in Booneville with burial in Carolan Cemetery near Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Cobb of Booneville and a niece, Loretta Terpening of Booneville; three sons, Ricky Davis of Booneville, Rob Davis (Pam) of Paris, and Douglas (Corrine) Davis of Modesto, Calif.; stepson, Rick Nelson (Angie) of Booneville; two stepdaughters, Sherry Parker (Greg) of Greenwood and Rhonda Nelson of Perryville; one brother, Bob Sackman of Booneville; two stepbrothers, Kenny and Junior Klutts; 13 grandchildren, Amber, Isaac, Austin, Amy, Jessica, Doug, Meggan, Hannah, Lauren, Eric, Deanna, Jessie, and Bradley; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Richard Jones, Zane and Brazen Fletcher, Isaac and Austin Cobb and Doug B. Davis.
Honorary Pallbearers: Bradley Ryles and Jessie Ryles.
