Leo Victor Burlison, 91, of Fort Smith, formerly of Blue Mountain, passed from this life on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born August 30, 1925 in Snake Island, Ark., near Stuttgart, to the late N.P. Burlison and Lora (Pruitt) Burlison Sinclair.

He was a retired Army veteran and served in World War II and the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing.

A graveside service is scheduled for noon, Monday, April 3, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Robinson and Inga Burlison both of Fort Smith; four sons, Larry Burlison of Blue Mountain, Perry Burlison of Central City, Victor Burlison of Benson, Ariz., and Stafford Burlison of Branch; one sister, Joy Boling of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m, Sunday evening at Roberts Funeral Home.
