Jacky Dan Yancy, 58, of Booneville, Ark., passed from this life on Saturday, March 11, 2017 in his home near Booneville. He was born October 12, 1958 in Los Angeles, Calif.

Jack was formerly employed at the Booneville Human Development Center. Jack loved his children and grandchildren deeply and loved to spend time with his family. Jack loved to go fishing and was an avid Razorback fan. He also loved his “boy” dog and many other dogs throughout his life. Jack loved music and the Beatles was his favorite band. Jack had so many close friends and was loved by many. Jack served his country in the Naval Reserves. He is preceded in death by father, Jimmy Ted Yancy. A private family held memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by one daughter, Megan Schmidt of Magazine; son, Dustin Davidson of Waldron; mother, DeAnn Ward of Fort Smith; companion, Crystal Fore of Booneville; sister, Sherry Lairamore of Fort Smith; brothers, Jimmy Don Yancy and Johnny Ray Yancy both of Fort Smith; Aunt, Connie Brown of Magazine; and seven grandchildren.
