It is with deep regret and a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Anthony Dewayne Kennon on Feb. 22, 2017 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Anthony was 31 years of age and a resident of Greenwood Arkansas when he passed this life to start his new journey to the next.
Anthony was born to Sherri Sue Kennon on Sept. 28 1985. He was the most outgoing and loving person you would ever meet. Anthony opened his heart to anyone that would have him and loved unconditionally to all who crossed his path. It is this love and his larger than life personality that brought a smile to so many people in his life. He would say “You are beautiful, smile, and make your dreams a reality”. He truly wanted the best for everyone in his life and did all he could to make that happen.
Anthony made a huge impact on this world and his life will not be forgotten, but celebrated, for all the incredible memories he made in his lifetime.
He was formerly employed by the State of Arkansas Highway Department and was a heavy equipment operator, construction worker, and ordained minister and was a member of the Glendale Baptist Church.
He enjoyed playing and listening to music, working on his truck, working out, fishing and four wheeling but his love for God came before any and all.
He is preceded in death by father, Ronald Shaw, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Eva Irene Viola “Nini”; paternal grandmother, Peggy Ann Goosey.
Anthony is survived by his son Brantlee Dewayne Kennon; stepdaughter, Hailee Sparks; his mother Sherri Kennon and stepfather Mark Davis; five sisters, Alissa Tindall, wife to Joe Wigley, Clarissa Tindall, wife to Jermiah Furney, Sara Kennon, Shannon Alexander, wife to Artis Alexander, Christine Shaw, and Nichole Roseberry; his two brothers, Daniel Shaw, husband to Kate Shaw, Ronnie Shaw, husband to Crystal Shaw, two stepbrothers, Anthony Davis and Christopher Davis; goddaughter, Kaitie Jackson, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
We will be celebrating Anthony’s life on Monday, Feb. 27 2017 at 3 p.m., at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville, 127 West 4th Street, Booneville, AR 72927, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
