Mikel Tanner, 65 of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 at his home. He was born on Sept. 10, 1951 in Booneville. He was a retired tool pusher in the gas well industry.

Mikel is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberlina Wynn, and his father, Webb Tanner.

Mikel is survived by his wife of 41 years, Virginia (Corp) Tanner of Paris; one son, Leslie Wynn and wife Anna of Scranton; two daughters, Diana Bergdorf of Paris and Nena Jacobs of Roseville; his mother, Gretel Tanner of Booneville; one sister, Betty Kitchens of Booneville; three brothers, Jim Tanner and wife Kay of Booneville, Sherman Tanner and wife Lola of Sugar Grove; Bob Tanner and wife Vicki of Booneville; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly Wynn, Julie Ann and Amber Wynn, Trenton, Maygan, Lizzy and Tori Pennington and Makel, Bruce and Quinton Neumeier; and seven great-grandchildren, Cale, Drew, Raven, Gabe, Gracie, Emmalyn and Alyson.

A memorial visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Paris Christian Center on Maple Street in Paris officiated by Bro. Angelo Florenciano.
