Willa Dean Mills, 76, of Greenwood, formerly of Booneville, passed from this life on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 12, 1940 in Belleville, to Willie Martin “Bud” and Onedia (Capps) Rogers.
She was a beautician in Booneville for many years and currently worked for Area Agency on Aging as an aide. She was an avid golfer, former softball player, loved dancing, bingo, shopping, going to watch her grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Billy” Mills; three brothers, Orval, Kenneth, and Loy Don Rogers, Sr.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 31, at Roberts Memorial Chapel in Booneville with burial in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery in Waveland, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammie Mills of Booneville; one son, Billy Dean Mills of Russellville; life partner, Justin Osmer of Greenwood; four sisters, Christene Miller of Waveland, Eululia Mills of Fort Smith, Nell Pruitt of Russellville, and Patsy Taylor of Booneville; one brother, Billy Rogers of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Allard, Eric Allard, Bill Ward, Kenneth Dietert, Danny Trowbridge, Jerry Trowbridge.
