Just 16 months since pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated for an incident in which he crashed a pickup into a church, Gregory Dan Smith, has been arrested for DWI again.

Smith, 43, was stopped by an officer at 7:12 p.m. last Monday night and a blood alcohol test revealed he was more than twice the legal limit, which is .08 in Arkansas. Smith was jailed for the DWI, driving on a suspended license and a failure to pay fines warrant.

Smith was fined $1,970 for the DWI, driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of a property damage accident in connection with the collision at First Assembly of God Church. Last Monday he had an outstanding balance of $1,195 in fines and $21,268 in restitution due.
