The last confirmed sighting of Timothy "Bo" Buffington was the day he escaped, according to Arkansas Department of Corrections spokesperson Shea Wilson.

Buffington, who escaped from ADC custody in Pine Bluff on June 14, was reportedly spotted in a maroon car on a rural road near Greenville, Miss. last Thursday, Wilson has stated. He was reportedly seen in a JAM Mart in Booneville a day earlier.

The second spotting proved to be incorrect, according to Booneville Police Department Chief Al Brown.

Buffington’s last sighting is one captured on video in an apparent attempt to break into a home in the Princeton Pike area in Pine Bluff the day of the escape.

Buffington, who had trusty status, was serving a 20-year sentence for first-degree murder of Rhonda Canada, his ex-wife, in Booneville in 1998.
