LITTLE ROCK — A Hot Springs lawyer wanted on a manslaughter charge turned herself in to authorities at the Garland County Adult Detention Center in Hot Springs on Thursday morning, the Saline County prosecutor’s office said.
Andrea "Andi" Davis, 36, was being held at the jail Thursday to await an 8:30 a.m. Friday bond hearing in Garland County District Court, Saline County deputy prosecutor Brian Clary said.
Warrants were issued Monday for Davis and her brother, Matthew Davis, 32, of California, in the Feb. 29, 2012, shooting death of Maxwell Anderson. Clary said late Thursday afternoon that he expected Matthew Davis to surrender in the evening.
Attorney General Dustin McDaniel dropped out of the governor’s race in January 2013 after admitting to having previously had an "inappropriate relationship" with Andrea Davis. The relationship had been mentioned in a divorce filing by Davis’ ex-husband.
