Muldrow police are searching for a man who allegedly fired three gunshots at his father's residence on Monday afternoon.

Trent Pedon, 29, of Muldrow is wanted on suspicion of domestic abuse and assault and battery with a firearm from a moving vehicle. Police began searching for Pedon on Monday evening and continued Tuesday, Muldrow Police Chief George Lawson said.

Muldrow police said Pedon fired two gunshots at the rear of his father's residence and one shot at the side of the residence, in the 400 block of Southwest Fourth Street in Muldrow, from his vehicle around 4 p.m. Monday. Pedon's father was inside the residence when he fired the shots, Lawson said.

An argument between Pedon and his father over a missing cellphone preceded the shooting, Lawson said.

Lawson said police obtained an arrest warrant for Pedon in connection with the incident and spoke to people Pedon knows on Tuesday. He said Muldrow police were the only law enforcement officials involved in the search as of Tuesday.

Anyone with information about Pedon or his location is asked to call the Muldrow Police Department at (918) 427-4431.
