Police are investigating a reported aggravated robbery involving a death threat.

At around 1:50 p.m. Sunday, a man told Fort Smith police officer Craig Sharp that a man and two women had just beaten and robbed him at an unknown address. He told Sharp that he was jumped by the three suspects after he drove the woman and one of the men to a house "somewhere off of South 31st Street" from the Choctaw Casino in Pocola earlier that day, the incident report states.

The man said he was beaten by the three suspects inside the house. He said one of the men told him that they had a gun and would kill him, the report states.

The man said the three suspects stole cash and other personal belongings valued at $141 during the incident. He said they left his license after they looked at the address and asked him who lived there, the report states.

The man said the three suspects then dragged him back to his truck, drove him away from the house, kicked him out and made him walk. He said he walked to Walmart, 2425 Zero St., where he found his truck. The truck had been rummaged, the report states.

Sharp saw that the man had a knot and a cut on the back of his head. The man told Sharp that the beating he received from the suspects caused the injury, the report states.

Sharp stated in the report that it was "very apparent" that the man was under the influence of illegal drugs. The man told Sharp he had shot methamphetamine earlier that morning, and said he was also on Xanax and Oxycodone, the report states.

The man's vehicle was parked in the Walmart parking lot with the keys locked inside when the report was taken. Emergency medical personnel checked the man for non-life-threatening injuries and then transported him to an area hospital for medical treatment, the report states.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Fort Smith Police Department at (479) 709-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.
