Elisabeth W. “Betsy” Danielson of Booneville will be among the honorees when the Arkansas Supreme Court Historical Society, Inc. hosts a dinner honoring women judges of the Arkansas Supreme Court and Arkansas Court of Appeals on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Governor’s Mansion Banquet Hall in Little Rock.

Danielson, who is retired, was a Court of Appeals Judge, a former 15th Judicial District Juvenile Judge and was most recently a District Court Judge in Booneville. Danielson is one of 13 female judges who will be honored at the event, which will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Three other deceased female judges will be remembered as well.

Danielson, who is married for the retired Supreme Court Justice Paul Danielson, has also worked as an Administrative Law Judge for Worker’s Compensation, a comptroller and a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney.

The featured speaker for the dinner is Lavenski R. Smith, Chief Judge, United States Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit
