Sexual related charges have been filed against two men in the Southern District of Logan County for alleged incidents involving individuals less than 14 years of age.

A Mansfield man has been charged with rape for an incident alleged to have occurred in 2015, according to court documents. Billy Joe Delp, 53, is accused of engaging in sexual intercourse and deviate sexual activity with another person who is less than 14 and not his spouse.

Rape is a Class Y felony punishable by 10 to 40 years, or life, in prison.

In an unrelated case Joy J. Morris, 21, of Booneville is charged with second degree sexual assault for allegedly touching the private areas of a 10-year old in June of last year.

Second degree sexual assault is a Class B felony punishable upon conviction by five to 20 years in prison.
