Booneville Parks Commissioner Shannon Cotton has announced the dates and times that the Booneville City Pool will be opened.

The pool opened for the summer yesterday at noon. The pools hours are from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The daily cost is $2.00 per child and $5.00 for adults. After 3 p.m. the fees are half price. Season passes are $50.00 a person and $150 for a family. Cotton states that children who cannot swim or stand in the pool with their head above water may not be dropped off and left unattended at the pool.

To kick the summer off the pool will be having a $1.00 family swim on Wednesday June 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. There are other swims nights scheduled throughout the summer. Dates for the lessons will be set at a later date.

Swimming lessons will be offered again this year. The cost for lessons will be $40.00 per one week (one hour per day) session.

The pool will also be opened for pool parties. The cost for pool parties will be $60.00 per two-hour party.

New this year is the Kona Ice Truck. It will be visiting the pool several times each week.
