Nice spurt from the Control Group – Alan Trippel and others. Better to attack my character and question my life experience and education, than to prove how I’m “wrong” on the issues. It’s what you expect – all about intimidation.
Well then, I suppose we have had satisfactory growth in the past decade or so? We are not only growing but we are absorbing the 650 in average annual deaths that John Tidquist mentioned we are experiencing in a recent chat? I assume this growth includes the estimated 50 percent of the survivors (325 more) who move subsequent to their mates’ death? Then why do only 30 to 60 show for the Newcomers’ Coffee every two months? Too late but the 2020 census will be revealing.
By the way – I heard Gerald Kosoglow (former board president) sold his lake house for a big loss and moved to Florida. One of my points – these guys can afford to sell at a loss and, like rats, abandon a sinking ship. What the POA and the “Friends” have done is destroy value that the average folk in the Village cannot just sell at a loss and walk away from and start over.
We are getting the “spread it on thick movement now.” The “Friends” are nice people that want your membership and your money. The POA is “improved” by over $5.1 million in the past year. No mention that $4.3 million of it is in court. Also they take claim for their employees’ better health last year as health costs came in more than $600,000 below forecast and previous periods. Of course they assume future health costs to be stable.
Oh, let’s spend more on our gates – walk-ins and drive-byes are a Village specialty – look at the growth.
