Mr. Rick, of course Mr. Clark Vernon has every right to express his viewpoint just as the rest of us have every right to express our views.
The Voice of course has the right, but not the obligation, to publish Mr. Vernon’s letters. Not all of the letters I have written have been published. I do not for a second believe that is an infringement of my freedoms.
I wholeheartedly disagree with the majority of Mr. Vernon’s statements. I don’t know if he attends other forums where he might gather further information and express his views. If he does attend such forums as Village Values and POA meetings, he has a better opportunity not only for expressing his views, but also gathering information.
His complaints in the forum are tedious complaints without any positives expressed. I no longer waste time to reading them. That does not interfere with his First Amendment rights. Everyone has the right to reside in any community he wants, but if I believed the Village so terrible, I’d move. None of my views infringe on any of Mr. Vernon’s rights under the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.
