Historical Park Tour

Meet in the Mount Magazine State Park Lodge to explore some of the many historic sites in Mount Magazine State Park during a guided tour to be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 30.

Enjoy the comfort of a van ride as a park interpreter takes you to many of Mount Magazine State Park’s points of interest, including old homesteads, farms, and historic overlooks. Space is limited; sign up at the lodge front desk.

Midnight Masquerade

The 2nd annual Midnight Masquerade Ball benefiting ARC for the River Valley will be held at the Doubletree at the Fort Smith City Center on Dec. 31, from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Live music will be provided by Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

Set for Choctaw Casino and Resort in Pocola, the countdown to New Year’s Eve will run four days, feature three concerts as well as KISR’s Ball Drop.

Ronnie Milsap will be appearing at the Cherokee Casino and Hotel in Roland, Okla., for a free concert from 8 to 11 p.m. on Dec. 30. The casino is located at 109 Cherokee Boulevard.
